Us Recently we moved to the countryside, in a small village near Pavia, where the fields are cultivated with love and a good wine is produced. I'm a mom of one wonderful teen daughter and two terrific dogs, a happy wife, an independent knitwear designer, a yarn maniac and an amateur chef. My teeny tiny business I have started designing my knitwear on Ravelry in 2010. In 2014 I have published my first collection and began some fab collaborations with Yarn Companies and Magazines. My goal is designing modern and wearable garments and accessories with a special attention to details. I work with native English and professional tech editors to provide clear patterns, easy to read and fun to knit. I focus to design highly customizable garments and quick accessory for any skill level. Our handmade life Thank you for supporting our handmade life! We try to knitting our garments, grow our veggies, cooking our local products and making our home decor with waste materials. We love support other small and independent businesses in the everyday life. My goal (and my promise) from this year is to transfer this philosophy more vigorously even in my work, finding more local or independent dyers, yarn companies and knitting-supplies-makers. As personal choice, at the moment I do not teach and do not travel for shows and yarn festivals, but if you'd like collaborate with me to arrange kits for workshops or trunk shows, I'll be happy to hear you via email or contact form. If you are a local yarn shop owner and you'd like to have one or more of my samples in your store, just contact me. If possibile, I will send you a sample or a free copy of the pattern in order to knit the samples by yourself/with your own yarn. If you're a knitter and want to sell finished garments and accessories made by my designs, please credit me as the designer and link modishknits.com. Modish People I am not interested in selling patterns that will remain forgotten in your wip bags. I offer a prompt service of pattern support and I am glad to answering all your questions or request for advice.
